I used it once and second time when I connect to this IOU – I dont get to see the ip address. How to fix that ?
I am able to see the ip address on the command prompt but how to see/set the ip address in the IOU ?

This runs on Busybox, I believe. You should be able to use ifconfig. Or you should be able to IP in your VM config. I use VirtualBox and can change the interface config in the network settings. HTH

Great videos. Can you tell me the VMware setting for version 4.3 as it seems to be different from flyxj. I have no problem running 4.3 on VMware just don’t know what the IP’s are and I can’t telnet into the POD’s.

    Thanks in advance

Wowwww… “AND DO NOT ASK ME WHERE TO FIND IT” why you talk this? share this information, send the information, share IOU file, or file is not “pirate” for sale? the sales are legal? so not pirating more, not sale, sharing with the community.

People need to do a little work on their own here. If you can’t find Asasel’s version, or feel compelled to go the licensed route then you should ask your Cisco SE to work out a license for you. No harm in asking, especially if you indicate that it will help your organization make purchasing decisions in the future.

the ip address issue is mainly corrected from Virtual network Editor under edit in VMware. Make sure you have set NAT and the check box (connect a virtual host adapter, use local DHCP service) is marked. Now check again in the menu IP address will be shown against port.

  7. Rizwan says:

and plus don’t be rude guys..IOU is not an official release and Cisco can ban your ass off if they find out that you are spreading it illegally as FLYXJ is already banned for life so chill out and give the lad a break!!

  8. Ronaldo says:

Not everyone has this break, it has marked his examination, it is obvious that you can not spread, 4shared and put in a post, but can at least e-mail, because someone got the shared file, then do the same, I referred to the way they expressed it, still I think it just …

can somebody help me with the IOU ? When I load the basic IP config from INE submenu ang this error msg from the switch:

*Mar 19 12:52:34.775: %SYS-4-CONFIG_RESOLVE_FAILURE: System config parse from (tftp:// failed
    %Error opening tftp:// (Timed out)
*Mar 19 12:53:12.795: %SYS-4-CONFIG_RESOLVE_FAILURE: System config parse from (tftp:// failed

any ideas how to solve it ??

  12. Mohammed says:

you can resolved by configuring in all devices

    no service config

after issue above command you need to save copy run start.

after that just reload command to all this device my issue command, not vm.

    Note: dont restart VM.

once you done just take snapshot in VM then you will be there where you are.

    enjoy.. 🙂
